A proposed source of clean, offshore wind power virtually invisible from the New Jersey shore
Garden State Offshore Energy is a proposed 350 megawatt wind farm to be located approximately 16 miles off the shore of South Jersey - where wind turbines will be virtually invisible from land. The project proposal was submitted in response to a solicitation by the New Jersey Office of Clean Energy by PSEG Renewable Generation and Deepwater Wind (previously Winergy Power Holdings) in March 2008.
