GSOE is a joint venture of PSEG Renewable Generation
and Deepwater Wind.
PSEG Renewable Generation is a subsidiary of PSEG Global and is part of the PSEG
family of companies with headquarters in Newark NJ. PSEG is a diversified energy
company (NYSE:PEG) and parent of PSEG a regulated utility with over 100 years of
delivering safe, reliable energy to New Jersey consumers. Other renewable projects
announced by PSEG include a $105 million solar loan program (run by PSEG) and the
formation of a joint venture, Energy Storage and Power, which is promoting compressed
air energy storage.
Deepwater Wind has the expertise required to make offshore wind farming a practical and
economic reality, combining the knowledge of experienced leaders in the renewable wind
energy business, offshore marine experts, environmental scientists and leading university
oceanographers. Working in partnership with state and federal government, Deepwater
Wind will harvest America's strong ocean winds to increase energy independence, create
jobs, and protect our environment for future generations.
The partnership is well capitalized, with PSEG Renewable Generation's parent Public
Service Enterprise group and Deepwater Wind's investors together managing and/or
owning more than $50 billion in assets.
